You can clear the cache in the CrashPlan application to try and resolve any application problems quickly.

First, shut down the CrashPlan application and background service. Then go to the following cache folder depending on your installation, and delete all the files inside:

Installed for everyone:

  • Windows: C:\ProgramData\CrashPlan\cache
  • Mac: /Library/Caches/CrashPlan
  • Linux: /usr/local/crashplan/cache

Installed per user:

  • Windows: C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\(Local or Roaming)\CrashPlan\cache
  • Mac: /Library/Caches/CrashPlan
  • Linux: /usr/local/crashplan/cache

Now reboot your device and sign into CrashPlan again, and check if the issue has been resolved.
